Your role at Volunteers of America Michigan: Services Navigator with Health Profession Opportunity Grants Program.

What brought you to this position? I wanted the opportunity to work in the non-profit sector. It was important to me to be of service to those that need a voice to advocate on their behalf. I am passionate on educating those individuals on how they can improve their quality of life.

What is your biggest takeaway from working with Volunteers of America Michigan? I enjoy the impact I get to have on those that come into our program. It is extremely rewarding when participants tell me I inspired them to take a leap.

What is your biggest challenge in this position? I do not let anything challenge me. I am motivated to try to do my best in every situation to turn it into a positive outcome.

Where is your dream vacation spot? Hawaii!

What is your favorite book? “Who Moved My Cheese” by Dr. Spencer Johnson.

How do you spend your time outside of the office? Shopping!
