Volunteers of America Michigan, social services organization and largest private provider of services to veterans in Michigan, to celebrate grand re-opening of their Corunna Thrift Store. They plan to commemorate the special occasion with a brief ceremony and ribbon cutting prior to the doors opening for business.

WHAT: Thrift Store Grand Re-Opening

WHEN: Friday March 13th thru Sunday, March 15th

WHERE: Volunteers of America Thrift Store (2500 E Main St, Corunna, MI 48817)  

Volunteers of America Michigan is excited to introduce their newly updated store to the community. They have recently finished cosmetic upgrades to the store including painting the interior, along with rolling out a full re-brand of the store. With all of this in mind, they are inviting the community to come celebrate with them on March 13th for a ribbon cutting. The store will continue the celebrations on the 13th thru 15th with food vendors, giveaways, and more!

The remodeled store will provide customers with over 20,000 square feet of shopping for clothing, linens, pots and pans, bedding, household goods, furniture and more. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the store will go to support programs for homeless veterans, poor seniors, and struggling families in Michigan.

The location will allow for donation drop-offs, and will even offer pickup in the surrounding area. To schedule a pickup, call 866-333-8281.

The Volunteers of America Thrift brand is well known in the mid-Michigan area with four stores already, and their “Take Half-Off Tuesday” sale that is held the last Tuesday of each month.
