What brought you to VOAMI? Opportunity to work with the homeless population again.

How long have you worked with VOAMI? Since November 2017

What is your biggest takeaway from your job? Surround yourself with the smartest people you can and learn from them. You have to learn how to work with everyone. Things will never go as expected at times, you must be flexible. Have fun and be authentic.

What does it mean to you to be helping others? Its gratifying and humbling at the same time when helping others. I just want to matter. Nothing more, nothing less.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given? Don’t be afraid to fail. Failure can be a learning opportunity.

What is your favorite color? Red

Where is your ideal vacation spot? Jackson Hole, Wyoming

What is your favorite book? To be honest, I have read only a few novels in my lifetime. The Firm would be my favorite book.

What fills your time outside of work? My family. I have two children, my 10 year old daughter and 12 year old son.

Who is your hero? Why? My hero is my old mentor (Nyshourn Price-Reed). Because she was able to teach me how to always see the good in people. She was instrumental in my choosing the path that I have taken.
